Ramble On

Our 'last' Roundabout Ramblers concert was this past Friday, May 18. It was a bit surreal. It's great that all the band knows us now, not just Erin and Jo. When I introduced my parents, who came up for the show, to D.B., he told them that I'd been to more of their gigs than he had!  Which is almost true. I'll really miss the Ramblers. But they were on fire that last night!

Here's a video of the song that Jo and Erin composed to bid the Ramblers farewell.

Then the Ramblers ended the show with a rendition of "Galway Girl" that brought tears to my eyes.

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a Roundabout Ramblers' CD?

Girls' Night and FOUNDER'S DAY 2012

Founders' Day 2012: We decided we weren't going to drink, even though this is the first Founders' Day that we're all legal, so that younger students could have a place to hang out if they wanted to avoid alcohol. So, like the responsible legal adults we are, Grace, S and I had a drink together the night before Founders' Day. We made it a girls' night!

Prepostatory Par

Wow. This is it. I just got back from chillin' at Grace's house with Jo and Chelsea. Graduation was last Sunday. And that is that. Wow!

So I'm WAY behind on uploading pictures and videos and embarrassing stories. So I'm going to do it all in separate posts. This is just a preparatory missive. It's about to get crazy.

Me: What year is she?
Jill: Sophomore. Rising junior, whatever... Then what are we? Rising unemployeds? Rising nobodies?

Terminal Propensities

So, not an hour ago, a certain drunken Russian bustled in here demanding that I go out and buy toilet paper, as we have once again been reduced to using paper towel.
