Guess who just walked in!!!

It's Joe! And guess what else! Jo was already here! And you know what that means!

Yes, that's right, we have the band Joes Before Hoes in the house RIGHT NOW.

...Or is it spelled Jos Before Hos? Not sure, but they'll have to figure it out before their Senior Week concert!

Art, Life, Billy Bob's...

Mmm, Billy Bob's Barbequeue with Stuart, Nora, Chelsea, Sarah, Grace and Jo...even though the hot sauce they call "buttkicker" is really more of a butt-groper in my opinion, everything was delicious! And after dinner, Stuart and Chelsea drew pictures of each other on the backs of their placemats. With the artists' permission, I submit them to the general public for free viewing.

First, Chelsea's, of Stuart. She really captured the moment of Stuart sitting in Billy Bob's, munching on...is that a pickle? The piece is entitled "Sutart."




Then, Stuart's of Chelsea: a tryptich of Chelsea-inspired sketches, in various styles. Of particular note is the Sailor Moon Chelsea in the upper right.

The End Times

One of the best things about living in TA37 is listening to Grace and Stuart try to cook something together. Which reminds me, the results of my anthro-lingustic study of the mysterious "durr-du-durr" is forthcoming.

Anyway, we have less than two months until graduation, which means we have to start thinking about our final lists: to-do lists, do-or-die lists, bucket lists, f***-it lists--you name it. I'll post later with each of our lists once I've conducted some interviews :D

Meanwhile, I proffer the suggestion that our theme song for the end of the semester is "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen.

Sleepover

Turns out Jacob's Ladder was a pretty scary movie. Chelsea and Joe L. had to sleep over.

Overheard in the kitchen this morning:

"Woah, that is a little too much Kool-Aid."

Honey, we're home!

Hoo boy. We got exactly two months to go. Two months exactly until graduation.

Things we also got: Seven-eighths of a coffee cake, almost all of a lasagna made by my mother, a pitcher of ginger-lemon tea, the movie Jacob's Ladder, and a whole lotta lovin'.

The Mind-Boggling Theory of Relativity

My aunt visited us this weekend! I promised Aunt Carol I'd make her a delicious dinner, and then promptly set my more talented friends on the task of preparing food. Michelle made a goat cheese and cranberry spinach salad with homemade dressing and homemade bread, and delicious rice paper rolls with cilantro, cucumber and pork in a peanut dipping sauce. Jo made doenjang jjige with cabbage and served with rice. Grace was the Sooin-chef. For dessert I made homemade Tiramisu again, which led Michelle to believe we were still celebrating her birthday even a month later. It was so nice to have all of us crowded around our island in the kitchen, eating such good food. We told my aunt and my mom that we eat like this every Saturday, but I don't think they believed us.

After dinner Jo performed the perennial favorite "Girl Named Jill." But he tried to censor it for Aunt Carol's behalf. Here's the video:


After dinner it got mind-bogglingly crazy!
