Yes, Post-Jo life can be daunting. The memories haunt you, no matter where you go. No matter where he goes. Which brings me to just where he went.
You heard it here, folks: here's a rundown of the latest Jo-related rumors!
Honduras
Jo was in Honduras, spreading the Good Word and other things besides, with an entourage of quirky Vassar boys. All that I know about that trip I gleaned from this picture:
Yes, and after that I don't think I need to know any more.
Beddy-Bye
Stuart talked to Jo on the phone the other day. In the course of our now-regular email correspondence (we're biffles again--it's great) he reported that Jo goes to sleep at 8:30 every night. The shmucky bastard.
Live the Dream
This one's from a few months ago, but in the beginning of July a few of us had a Facebook thing going with updates, and I posted that I'd just gotten a job in NYC. This is what Jo wrote back to me:
Yeah, I don't know what that last part means, but this was probably the best piece of encouragement I've gotten since I graduated.Jill, great to hear you're living the dream, man! Everyone knows you gotta get owned for a while before you make it big in the City. Ha, ha, but even if you don't break through there, you'll always have a Korean-American in Utah you've broken through in your college days...
Well, that's it for the Jo Roundup! Grace, Stuart and I will be meeting in NYC this Thursday night for the 100 Nights After Graduation party. No Utahans are expected to be in attendance. I'll post pictures when I can though. Because I just can't let this blog die.
